During the 66 years of Israel`s existence, Israeli music has been developed and nurtured by many influences from across the Mediterranean Sea, across the Atlantic Ocean, and throughout the enormous influences of the Middle East. It is not an imitation, but a unique merge of sounds and beats that is formed due the special melting pot that has brought Jews from all around the world to Israel. This process of influences, exploration, and innovation is one of the main characteristics that define the Israeli rock scene to this day.
